Seven centuries of art, with 180 works by artists from Bologna or that are permanently exposed to Bologna. Works, from Cimabue to Morandi choices and reread by Vittorio Sgarbi, from public and private collections. It can be seen in a single exhibition venue, Palazzo Fava.
The exhibition, dedicated to significantly scholar Roberto Longhi, takes place in the halls where the three young cousins Ludovico, Agostino and Annibale Carracci, in 1584, received by Count Filippo Fava commissioned to carry out the fresco decoration of the main hall of the new family palace.
From Cimabue to Morandi it is curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and is promoted by Genus Bononiae Museums in the City, with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna.
